Kendal was referred to Avatti by a long-time client of ours to help her rebrand her beauty business and develop a masterclass that she could sell online. This wouldn't be the first time we had played in the beauty and aesthetics industry, but it would be the first time we developed a video masterclass. Being rather fond of a good challenge we accepted the project, and began work.
It seemed at first like it would be a straightforward project for the most part: rebrand, set up an online course portal, and film a video masterclass. And in the end that's exactly what we did, it just wound up taking a few left turns to get there!
As we began the rebrand, we came up with our first ideas and they were rather nice. But then on further reflection we weren't quite happy with the direction. We wound up going through several different iterations of both logo and colour palette until we finally arrived upon the right one.
The video masterclass was more of a challenge than we expected. Getting the lighting and camera work right was a little tricky, and then getting everything composited together was a challenge but we rose to the occasion and completed the task for a final product that is going to produce results for the client for years to come.
The project included Logo Design, Video Production, and Online Learning Portal Setup.

OVERVIEW
The new Modern Honey logo features a blend of minimal and decorative aesthetics. The design communicates the grace and natural presentation that Kendal brings to her work. The logo features a stylized wordmark with the brand name in a font that blends serif and sans serif elements together with a stylized brush stroke for the emblem, representing both the way her brush strokes move, and the M for Modern Honey. The colour scheme is inviting with warm tones, reflecting the results customers can expect with their purchase.
